Art Direction, Project Management, Senior Print & Web Designer

Marketing direction, UI/motion/print design and production. Leads art department for multimedia content provider and other subsidiaries, and serves as national award-winning senior designer.

Employs expert-level Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite skills, as well as AdobeXD, InVision, Sketch, and agile project management tools.

Art direction, project management and design responsibilities include
  • All product packaging, including over 300 titles plus associated posters, banners, photos and marketing collateral for affiliates
  • All print and web branding collateral (from web banners to magazine and outdoor advertising to large scale promotional events)
  • All web team UI and UX design/development, through five major in-house redesign cycles, from simple ASP through JSP to currently outsourced responsive design and CMS integration
  • All DVD menus and motion design
  • All direct html email and print catalogues, from copy to layout to production
  • All Flash UI design, devlopment and coding
Creative director and marketing responsibilities also include
  • Interface with outside vendors and affiliates, and provide printed and electronic marketing collateral as needed
  • Graphics for other subsidiary ventures, such as real estate logos, marketing collateral, architectural diagrams for pslux.com
  • Public service campaigns, including bus shelter and BART posters
  • Hiring and supervision of art and archiving staff

Initially I hired Robert to develop and manage our Flash web presence. As a member of our web development department, he quickly demonstrated not only his coding and organizational skills, but his UI and graphic design abilities as well.

We liked what we saw and persuaded Robert to take on management of our Art department as well, where he served as senior print and web designer, and in his very first year scored a national award for best product packaging design. He rebuilt our design and archiving team from the ground up, and helped make our company’s working relationships and marketing strategies successful. At the same time, Robert continued to be responsible for UX development and online marketing, and took our sites through multiple re-design cycles.

As Creative Director, Robert has consistently built and strengthened our company brand and potential.
